Summary

The 3D4H unit at the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital has established itself as a pioneer and benchmark for 3D planning of complex surgeries. Through the use of 3D technology, we are able to plan personalised cases for each patient in 10 different specialties of the centre. This seminar will explain how to move from medical imaging to virtual 3D models, 3D printing and Virtual Reality for surgical planning and its impact on the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of complex surgeries.
