"PIVIT" - Pediatric Infrastructures for Viral Therapy

The main goal of the project is to build a clean room (Level 3 biocontainment laboratory) and adjoining rooms with the aim of having the appropriate conditions for the production of lentiviral vectors suitable for use in therapeutic conditions, especially in the goal of immunotherapy in pediatric patients.

About the "SINGULAR" Call for Projects The main objective of the

"SINGULAR" call for Projects in 2019 is to finance the realization of unique institutional projects that enable the generation of research excellence, the attraction of talent and the development of knowledge transfer and valorisation activities, through the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation or substantial expansion of buildings for R&D infrastructure.

These projects promote the scientific activity related to some of the transversal facilitating technologies included in the Research and Innovation Strategy for the smart specialization of Catalonia (RIS3CAT). A total of 20 initiatives were selected.
