Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu The group is dedicated to research in diseases in which surgical treatment is present at some point in the healthcare process. Due to its multidisciplinary nature, the group is made up of a team of people from diverse fields of medicine coordinated in the areas of interest of the research (specialists in general and digestive surgery, traumatology, gynaecology, urology and anaesthesiology).
The group's study area is extensive and integrates from the basic sciences (cadaver dissection, experimental surgery with animals, among others) to the evaluation of the efficacy of surgical and anaesthetic procedures.
